During this inspection, the inspector assesses various aspects of the home, including the insulation, heating systems, windows and doors, and other relevant features that influence the energy consumption and the energy label of the home.
The duration of an inspection for an energy label depends on the type of home. In general, an inspection for an apartment usually takes about half an hour to an hour. For larger properties, such as detached houses or villas, the inspection may take longer, up to 1.5 hours.
Can I cancel the appointment after scheduling?
Yes, it is usually possible to cancel an energy label inspection appointment once it has been scheduled. However, it is important to do this as soon as possible and contact us directly. Cancellations can be processed without penalty up to 5 working days.
When will I receive my energy label?
We aim to deliver your energy label within 5 days of the inspection, however if it is busier this may take longer.
How long is the energy label valid after the inspection?
The final energy label is valid for 10 years after the inspection.
